22 experiments in hebrew typography
"twenty two experiments in hebrew typography" is a typographic research project, focused on three Hebrew fonts designed in recent years with the help of digital media, and examines their physical properties and their existence as an object in space. The project was documented for four months in a blog: 22project.tumblr.com The blog followed the preparations for testing and now presents those in their chronological order. In addition, photographs depicting the preparations, the course of the experiments and their conclusions, were collected and edited into a series of three books. Each book is dedicated to one of the three fonts, and presents the attempts and their conclusions in an alphabetical order. The experiments were formulated for each letter, according to its shape and meaning; and were executed on the three fonts in the same manner, in order to maintain proper experimental conditions.
